My ‘Most Valuable Persons 2025’:: No. 05 – Prince Idowu Ilara 

Prince Idowu Ilara is the Managing Director/Chief Executive Officer, i-Larry Synergy International Limited, with the corporate head office located in Asokoro, Abuja, and branches in Lagos, Ekiti, and Oyo states. Prince Ilara occupies my number #5 on those who shaped the year 2025 for me. He is a disciplinarian who’s also shockingly impressionable and tenderhearted.

Prince Ilara and I met on Project A.K.A, i.e., Hon. Capt. Akinjide Kazeem Akinola (Rtd) House of Representatives project in 2022. We combed every nook and cranny of every village in Egbeda/Ona-Ara Federal Constituency, Ibadan, Oyo State together, promoting the ‘New Dawn’ sloganeering envisioned by the young Akinjide. This project would spark the start of our brotherly and beautifully symbiotic relationship.

You see this Prince Ilara, ehn, rest assured that any project he brings you on board, he is sure to take very good care of you. Since 2022, Prince Ilara has undertaken two other projects – the APC gubernatorial primaries of both Ondo and Ekiti States. And for each project, he has always invited me to be part of the think-tank strategic team. He is a man who appreciates intelligence when he sees one. He is one of the very few silent support systems anyone can have around them. I am sure those he has supported politically can attest to this incontrovertible fact.

As a taskmaster, he ensures assignments on any project are delivered with precision and timely too. He does not give room for laxity and complacency. The Ondo State-born IT consultant is a man who always has his eyes on the ball on any given project or undertaking. He is a go-getter and puts his self – body and soul to any project.

Did I mention that Prince Ilara is also a man with the Midas touch? Oh! He is – a man with a beautiful soul who does not joke with the welfare of either the workforce under his payroll or those political allies of his on any project. I have not seen in nearly 3 years of my contact with Prince Ilara where whoever works with him on any project complains of neglect. He knows the psychology of a mind who knows their Maslow’s hierarchy of need are secured. He is a caring soul.

With his open-door policy, I have unrestricted access to him. He listens to me, has enormous respect for my views, and sees me as an inner caucus member of his political set-up. As one of his spokespersons on his political projects, I always feel wanted, respected, and no less appreciated. He always shows that he appreciates the value I bring to every project he is to undertake. He feels his team is NE’ER complete without my humble self in it. This alone is a big reason to have him as a pillar of support. And I appreciate his honest admission of my ingenuity.

To Prince Ilara, you never saw this coming, I’m very sure. This is the only way I felt I could appreciate you. Thank you for the recognition always. Thank you for always-ready to bring me to spotlight. You’re a man who believes in talent and all I can assure you is that you will always have a dependable ally in I, Omogbolahan L.A BABAWALE. Thank you for all the support ever and always. May God ne’er stop to bless and protect you and yours, too.
