In line with efforts to promote practical learning and youth empowerment, Vuba Fashion House recently hosted students and staff of Selma Schools Jos on an educational excursion to its fashion house facility.

The visit provided students with hands-on exposure to the creative and technical processes that define the fashion industry. They were taken through key stages of garment production, including design development, fabric selection, pattern drafting, sewing, finishing, and quality control.

Addressing the students, the Creative Director of Vuba Fashion House highlighted the role of creativity, discipline, and innovation in building a sustainable career in fashion. He noted that the fashion industry offers vast opportunities for self-expression and entrepreneurship, particularly for young people willing to learn and grow.

The excursion featured interactive sessions that allowed students to engage directly with professionals, ask questions, and gain clarity on career paths within the creative sector. Outstanding participation by students was acknowledged, fostering confidence and enthusiasm.

Teachers from Selma Schools commended Vuba Fashion House for the warm reception and impactful learning experience, describing the excursion as a valuable extension of classroom education.

The initiative underscores Vuba Fashion House’s commitment to mentorship and community development, as well as Selma Schools’ dedication to nurturing well-rounded students through experiential learning.
