Eze Alex Sunday Nwoye Set To Celebrate 42 Years Wedding Anniversary With Wife In Grand Style

Amiable traditional leader, Eze (Dr) Alex  Sunday Nwoye and his wife, Ugoeze Jecinta, are set to celebrate their 42nd wedding anniversary in grand style in Lagos State.
P.M.EXPRESS reports that the couple had their wedding on 25th February forty two years ago and will be surrounded by family, friends and well-wishers to mark the occasion with a sumptuous feast, traditional dances and heartfelt speeches.
Their love story is an inspiration to the younger generations with over four decades of fruitful marriage nurtured in genuine care and fear of God.
Their marriage is a testament to love, trust, and commitment that has stood the test of time.
Eze Alex Sunday Nwoye is a respected traditional leader known for his philanthropic efforts and commitment to community development.
He expressed his joy over his marriage to the wife and thanked God for their good health of mind and body, strength and courage.
‎Eze Alex Sunday Mkpidike Nwoye was born in 1956 at Agbako kindred of Awalasi Community, Uga, in Aguata Local Government Area of Anambra State. He is the 7th child in a family of 10 children.
‎Educational Life:
‎He started his primary education in 1964 at Mbala Oye Primary School, Uga. The advent of the civil war attempted to truncate his educational development but being a dogged, focused and determined young man, he persisted and while in the service of Amesi Commercial Enterprises Limited and Ace Industries limited in Lagos as a director, Chief ASM Nwoye, resumed his educational pursuit to earn a Bachelor of Science degree in Sociology (B.Sc., Sociology), a post graduate diploma in Industrial Management (PGD – Ind. Mgt). He became the prestigious award winner of the Nigerian Union of Journalism, (NUJ) Enugu State Chapter in 1993, and Fellow, Institute of Journalism, Management and Continuing Education (FIJMCE) in 1995.
‎Work/Business Life:
‎After the civil war in the 1970, he took the challenge of fatherhood to ensure the wellbeing and educational development of his siblings which momentarily placed a hold on his own personal studies then. He left for Enugu in 1974 to serve his In-law, Chief B. O. Umeozulu (Akunyienwata Egwu), Chairman, Amesi Commercial Enterprises Limited. At the completion of service, which spanned 6 years, in 1979 he was so well behaved and successful that his boss decided to enter into a joint venture arrangement with him and so he was made partner in-charge of the Lagos new branch in 1980. Again, his hard work and dedication to duty showed off as the company prospered under his administration. He served in that capacity for eleven years.
‎In 1991, Chief Nwoye resigned his position on the board to give birth to Paints and Allied Products manufacturing company in Nigeria called Aceland Industries Limited. The company diversified into other businesses that saw the setting up of Rockland and Mecvilla Gardens to promote tourism in Ejigbo Local Council Development Area of Lagos State. He is also the chairman of Ugaland Interbiz Limited, dealer and importer in building materials (ceramic tiles), a manufacturer of table/bottle water with a serious plan to enter into fruit drinks. He is also the chairman of Rock 90 Stores, a modern supermarket in Ailegun.
‎His excellent acumen in business has taken him to so many places and he is a member of so many business associations including but not limited to; A member of the Manufacturers Association of Nigeria (MAN), Paints Manufacturers’ Association of Nigeria (PMAN) and Nigerian British Chamber of Commerce (NBCC) to mention but a few.
‎Social Philanthropic Life:
‎Chief ASM Nwoye is endowed with Mosaic kind of wisdom for leadership, hence his thriving socials across the communities. He is a very open minded individual with no tribal sentiments. His promotion of human capital development is boundless as there are many Nigerians of different tribes who have benefited from his success and acumen in different parts of the country. He is one man who is peaceful and always open to ideas and innovations. His American style of leadership is not only commendable but also legendary. Of course, the people of Ejigbo community, where many of his businesses are sited, are very appreciative of his efforts.
‎This they have demonstrated through the custodian of their tradition; the King of the land, HRM Oba Morufu Adekunle Adisa Ojoola, the Ojon of Ejigbo and Ijan land, who crowned him with Chieftaincy title of 1st Bobaselu of Ejigbo in 2006. By virtue of this honour, he has been able to foster peaceful co-existence between the Igbos and the omoniles. He has been able to put the Igbos together in a single manageable group to nullify the sayings that “Igbo amaghi eze”. In 2011, he formed the Igbo Council of Elders (ICE) to empower others to lead. This singular effort of his has earned him, the only recognized leader of the Igbos and other non indigenes in Ejigbo, a member of Council in the Oba’s Cabinet.
‎As a Patron, he contributed immensely to the upliftment of the Police Community Relations Committee (PCRC). He is the Treasurer of the Bobakeye Club of Ejigbo and Ijan Land and treasurer of Ailegun-East CDA and a member of Adejumo Tennis Club of Ilamoshe Ejigbo.
‎He is not just a good man in diaspora only. He has demonstrated that charity should actually begin at home. In his home town, Chief Nwoye is a title holder as Duru Ochiri Ozuo of Uga, in Aguata Local Government Area of Anambra State, an honour that shows how well he cares for humanity. He is a distinguished Industrialist Merit Award winner of Aguata Progressive Union (APU) Lagos branch in 2000. His contributions are not left out in the development of his Town Union in Lagos (Uga Improvement Union) as well as the village meeting (Awalasi Progressive Union). He led to the establishment of his kindred meeting in Lagos (Agbako Family Meeting Meeting).
‎Today, Eze Alex Sunday Nwoye is the President General of the Incorporated Trustees of Association of Ndieze,  Noble Igbos and Igbo Apex leaders Gburugburu (Worldwide).
