Lady, 29, Docked For Bargaining To Sell Sister’s Unborn Baby To Medical Center

A 29-year old lady, Ebijuomore Mojisola, has landed in trouble for allegedly bargaining to sell her sister’s unborn baby to Roseland Medical Care in Lagos State.
P.M.EXPRESS reports that Mojisola has been arrested and charged for conduct likely to cause breach of public peace over her alleged conduct.
The incident happened on 6th December, 2025, at Macaulay Street, Ikorodu, Lagos.
According to the Police, the suspect allegedly contacted the medical center through WhatsApp and bragged to sell the unborn baby before the information leaked to the Police.
Thus, she was arrested and transferred to the Gender Section of the State Command for interrogation over her alleged conduct and after interrogation,  the Police found her culpable for the conduct.
Consequently, she was charged before the Ogba Magistrate Court for her alleged conduct
The charge read:
“That you, Ebijuomore Mojisola ‘f, on the 6th day of December, 2025 about 1330hours, at No. 10, Macaulay Street, Ikorodu – Lagos, in Lagos Magisterial District, did conduct yourself in a manner likely to cause breach of peace by bargaining with Roseland Medical Care  on whatsapp to sell unborn child of one Ebijuomore Elizabeth and thereby committed an offence punishable under on 168(d) of the Criminal Law of Lagos State of Nigeria, 2015.”
However, she pleaded not guilty.
The prosecutor, Supol Philip Ademigbuji, asked the Court to give a date for hearing since she pleaded not guilty to enable the Police to prove that she actually committed the alleged offence.
The Presiding Magistrate, Mrs. O. Kusanu, granted her bail with two sureties, who must show evidence of means of livelihood and tax payment while addresses will be verified by the Court.
The matter was adjourned for mention while the defendant was remanded in custody at the correctional center at Kirikiri town, pending when she will perfect her bail conditions.
