4 Men In Serious Trouble For Allegedly Gang-Raping 2 Underaged Girls

A 27-year old man, Ebuka Igwe, has been arrested and charged in Lagos State for allegedly conspiring with three other men now at large and gang-raping 2 underaged girls.
P.M.EXPRESS reports that the incident happened on 8th February, 2026, at Aluminum Village market, Agege area of Lagos.
The suspect was charged for conspiracy and defilement under the criminal law of the State over his alleged conduct against the victims.
The charges read:
COUNT 1: “That you, Ebuka Igwe ‘m’ on the 8th February, 2026 at Aluminum Village, Lagos State, in the Ikeja Magisterial District, did unlawfully conspire with others now at large to commit felony to wit defilement of the victims, aged 15 and 14 years old being minors and thereby committed an offence punishable under Section 411 of the Criminal Law of Lagos State of Nigeria 2015.”
COUNT 2:”That you, Ebuka Igwe ‘m’ and others now at large on the same date, time and place in the aforementioned Magisterial District, did unlawfully defile the minors by penetrating their vaginas with your penis without their consent and thereby committed an offence punishable under Section 137 of the Criminal Law of Lagos State Nigeria 2015.”
COUNT 3:-“That you, Ebuka Igwe ‘m’ and others now at large on the same date, time in the aforementioned Magisterial District, did unlawfully and Indecently deal with the minors by penetrating their vaginas with your penis without their consent and committed an offence purishable under Section 261 of the Criminal Law of Lagos State of Nigeria 2015.”
The Court did not take his plea following a motion moved by the prosecutor, Mr. Lucky Ihiehie, asking the Court to refer the matter to the DPP for legal advice.
The Presiding Magistrate, Mrs. M.O. Tanimola, ordered his remand in custody at the correctional center at Kirikiri town, Lagos, pending the outcome of the DPP’s advice and directed the prosecutor to duplicate the file and send it to the DPP for legal advice.
The matter was adjourned for mention for the report of the DPP’s advice to be available, which will determine if the matter will be transferred to the High Court or not over jurisdiction.
