Teenager Lands In Trouble For Defiling & Impregnating Younger Sister

18-year old Festus Leonard has landed in trouble in Lagos State for allegedly defiling his 17-year old younger sister and Impregnating her in the process. 
P.M.EXPRESS reports that the suspect, Leonard, has been arrested and charged for defilement over his alleged conduct.
The incident happened on Road Lekki Scheme II, Ajah – Lagos.
The matter was reported to the Police at Ogombo Division. The suspect was arrested and transferred to the Gender Section of the State Command for interrogation over the alleged offence.
According to the Police,  one Anwo Ismail ‘m’ of Gbolahan Baker Close, Badore -Ajah, Lagos, staff of Volunteer  GNOSIS Network in Ajah reported to the Police at Ogombo Division that he saw the victim roaming along the road, talking alone when he asked her, she stated that her brother one Festus Leonard ‘m’ was having carnal knowledge of her without her consent and she is five months pregnant for him.
The suspect was arrested and detained at the Gender Section of the Command and was found culpable for the alleged offence after thorough interrogation. He was then charged before the Ogba Magistrates Court for the alleged offence which attracts several years of imprisonment.
The charge read:
“That you, Festus Leonard ‘m’, sometime in the year 2025, at Road Lekki Scheme II, Ajah – Lagos, in the Lagos Magisterial District, did defile the victim ‘f 17years and got her pregnant and thereby committed an offence punishable under Section 137 of the criminal laws of Lagos State of Nigeria, 2015.”
The Court did not take his plea following a motion moved by the prosecutor, Inspector Lucky Ihiehie, asking the Court to refer the matter to the DPP for legal advice.
The Presiding Magistrate, Mrs. M.O. Tanimola, ordered his remand in custody at the correctional center at Kirikiri town, Lagos, pending the outcome of the DPP’s advice and directed the prosecutor to duplicate the file and send it to the DPP for advice.
The matter was adjourned for mention for the report of the DPP’s advice, which will determine if the matter will be transferred to the High Court or not over jurisdiction.
