Stakeholders in Oshodi/Isolo Federal Constituency 2 have faulted a recent publication that wrongly listed aspirant Ndubuisi Nixon Okwara under Constituency 1.
According to the stakeholders, the error appears to be deliberate and aimed at confusing party members and the electoral committee ahead of the primaries. They said the misinformation could disrupt the selection process.
The group described the publication as malicious and misleading. They argued that placing Okwara’s name in the wrong constituency creates doubt about his actual candidacy and gives undue advantage to other aspirants.
In their statement, the stakeholders stressed that Prince Ndubisi Nixon Okwara is contesting for Oshodi/Isolo Federal Constituency 2, not Constituency 1. They called on party leaders to disregard the incorrect listing.

They also condemned what they called an unfair attempt to mislead delegates and party officials. The stakeholders said such actions undermine transparency and fairness in the primary election process.
According to the group, Okwara has been active in Constituency 2 and has engaged with members across the area for months. They said his grassroots work reflects his commitment to the constituency he intends to represent.
The stakeholders stated that Okwara is prepared to participate in a free and fair primary alongside other contestants. They urged the party to ensure a level playing field for all aspirants.
They further called on the media and party officials to verify information before publishing it, noting that errors like this can affect public trust in the electoral process.
The group appealed to party leaders to correct the record and ensure that only accurate candidate lists are circulated. They said clarity is essential to avoid confusion during screening and voting.
Concluding, the stakeholders reaffirmed their support for Ndubisi Nixon Okwara’s ambition in Constituency 2. They said they would continue to mobilize members to ensure a fair and credible primary.
