BBNaija Season 11: Chimsom Chuka Emerges First Head of House as Biggie Unveils The Gambit

Posted on July 28, 2026

The Big Brother Naija Season 11 housemates have barely settled into Biggie’s House and Biggie is already keeping them on their toes. After splitting the housemates into all-male and all-female teams, Biggie introduced two more twists set to shake up the game.

The Head of House challenge on Monday night saw the housemates battle it out for the first leadership position of the season. In the end, Chimsom Chuka emerged victorious, becoming the first Head of House.

However, this season, the Head of House title comes with a twist of its own.

While the Head of House still gets immunity from eviction, the winner will not automatically move into the Head of House Loft as viewers have come to expect. Instead, the Head of House will have to pick a name from Biggie’s Lucky Dip box.

The housemate whose name is picked will become the occupant of the Head of House Loft and will have the opportunity to invite one housemate of their choice to share the space with them. The Head of House, however, cannot be chosen as a loft mate.

For Chimsom Chuka, the name picked from the box was Tram, who then chose Sheba to join him in the loft.

And, of course, Biggie was not done.
Nominations, But Not Quite as We Know Them

The housemates went on to nominate one another, with some of the most noticeable names receiving multiple nominations, including Ricky, Bellz, Nomy, Cassi, Oyin, Sultex, Godessa and Aikou.

But before anyone starts worrying about eviction, this is where Biggie’s latest twist comes in.

This is a fake nomination week, which means viewers will not be voting to evict any of the nominated housemates.

Instead, viewers will get to choose one male and one female Housemate to take on a special role in the House. The two housemates selected will be known as The Gambits.

So, What Exactly Is The Gambit?

The Gambit twist introduces a new layer to the game. The two housemates chosen by viewers will be guaranteed a place in the House until the end of the season. They will continue to participate in House activities, compete for rewards and enjoy the other opportunities Biggie has in store for the housemates.

They will also remain eligible to participate in activities with prizes attached to them. However, there is one major difference: The Gambits will not be eligible to win the season’s grand prize money.

So, rather than voting to evict a housemate, viewers will have the opportunity to decide which two housemates, one male and one female, will take on this unique role and remain in the House until the end of the season.

With a new Head of House, a surprise loft arrangement, fake nominations and the introduction of The Gambit twist, Biggie is clearly changing the rules of the game this season.

Now, the power is in the viewers’ hands. Who will you choose to become the first Gambits of Big Brother Naija Season 11?

Voting is now open on the MyDStv app, MyGOtv app and the Africa Magic website.
