There are strong indications that as part of the itinerary of Buruj Sports Academy to the United Kingdom, the academy may also include featuring in this year’s Welsh International Super Cup in Cardiff, Wales.
Following their triumph at the just concluded TTD Super Cup in Dubai, the United Arab Emirates, the management are already packaging a trip which will take them to Manchester for the defence of English Super Cup which they won last year and Spanish Cup in Spain.
They are scheduled to also play some games in London as part of activities to celebrate their 10th year anniversary and award night.
But with the kind of encouragement that is coming from the Life Matron of the academy, Rev.Mother Esther Abimbola Ajayi, the General Overseer of Love Of Christ Generation Church, London, the Welsh Super Cup test is awaiting all the players that will make the trip.
The CEO of the academy, Salaudeen Waheed, disclosed that he and his players are well motivated to maximize the opportunity of the Euro tour to expose the players to as many competitions as possible and in the process make people like Mummy Ajayi happy.
It would be recalled that the last time the academy won the English Super Cup in Manchester, the team were hosted by the Mummy Ajayi and she has promised to play host to the contingent this year again for the games and the award night in the United Kingdom.
Meanwhile, in keeping with the tradition of exposing their young players to both local and international competitions, the management and technical crew of Buruj Sports Academy is now shifting its focus on upcoming Lagos State FA Cup which will kick off in the first week of May this year
.
According to the training schedule, all the players that featured and won the TTD Trophy Cup in Dubai earlier this month and those who are not opportune to travel will be drilled during intensive training while only players that are fit and ready will be paraded.
The management is already working round the clock to arrange top flight friendly games to put the players in tip-top shape ahead of the kick-off date.
The plan among other thing is to ensure that the academy go far in the FA Cup being organised by the Lagos State Football Association (LASFA) or possibly win the coveted trophy this time around.
