John Utaka Foundation Football Team Set For SATUC World Cup

John Utaka Foundation Football team is set to raise the banner of Nigeria football high in far away Sofia, the capital of Bulgaria at the SATUC World Cup tournament where the team will trade tackles with Syria and Morocco in Group D that comprises three teams.
SATUC World Cup 2018 is a 5 -aside Under 16 tournament for the under privileged children and there are 12 teams participating at the tournament, with three teams in each group.
PM EXPRESS can report that hostilities will begin on Sunday as Bulgaria; the host of the tournament will entertain Iraq, while John Utaka Foundation Football Under 16 team representing Nigeria will begin their quest for honour with a game against Syria.
In an exclusive chat with PM EXPRESS, Usman Chata, the coordinator of the John Utaka Foundation Football team expressed great optimism that the team will excel at the tournament as they were given adequate training and preparation, adding that there is no doubt that the young boys will be good ambassadors of Nigeria’s brand of football at the SATUC World Cup tournament.
“John Utaka Foundation Football team will not disappoint at the tournament. Although, the foundation is not interested in win at all cost mentality, a reason we insisted that the right set of players within the age bracket for the tournament were selected to represent the foundation. We are happy to expose the children to a different type of football, which thrives on skills and stamina,” Usman Chata said.
“The 5 – Aside football will develop the players in the areas of their shooting abilities, dribbling skills and endurance which is the stamina”, he added.
“The team will play Syria in the first game of the group before playing Morocco next and it is just a game of 15 minutes in each half and we hope that John Utaka Foundation Football team will excel at the tournament that will end on 16 August”, he said.
