The Court of Appeal sitting in Abuja has sacked BarristerJimoh Ibrahim as the candidate of the PDP in the Ondo State governorship election holding on Saturday.
The court, therefore, ordered that Ibrahim be replaced with Eyitayo Jegede, who belongs to the Ahmed Markafi faction of the party.
The Appeal Court set aside a ruling of the Federal High Court by Justice Okon Abang which declared Ibrahim the candidate.
All the objections filed by Ibrahim and his loyalists at the Appeal Court were also dismissed.
