When Bishop Kwakpovwe Hosted Ambode, Sanwo-Olu, Agbaje, Others At World Anointing Night
Lagos State Governor, Mr. Akinwunmi Ambode, Lagos All Progressives Congress gubernatorial candidate, Mr. Babajide Olusola Sanwo-Olu and his Peoples Democratic Party counterpart, Mr. Jimi Agbaje were among the dignitaries present at the recent 2019 World Anointing Night of the Manna Mountain Ministries hosted by Bishop Dr. Chris Kwakpovwe at the Tafawa Balewa Square in Lagos.
At this year annual special crusade themed: “My Story To Glory” the governor and the two governorship candidates joined hundreds of thousands from every parts of the world including United States, Canada, Europe and several African countries to witness the overwhelming flow of testimonies as heavens opened up and rained down spiritual blessings on many faith believers present.
As it’s usually the norm, the service commenced with a series of exhortation, eloquently delivered by the ministers of the Manna Prayer Mountain and ordained ministers of God from selected states and countries.
The Manna Voices International Choir, as well as the Children Orchestra and other anointed guest artistes, further increased the spiritual tempo of the evening with their music ministration.
The atmosphere became charged when the General Overseer of the ministry, Bishop Kwakpovwe, was ushered to the podium. In his usual charismatic style of ministration, Bishop Kwakpovwe prepared the hearts of the teeming worshippers to receive from God.
His dynamic ministration was accentuated with a strong measure of boldness and rare confidence, in expounding the indelible truths contained in the Word of God as the only path of Man to daily communication with God.
His message spewing from the pulpit drew many to a tearful conviction and deep hunger for a real encounter with the living God.
This included millions of others from various parts of the world who joined the crusade through live streaming as captured by numerous state of the art cameras and most sophisticated drones captured the aerial perspective of the atmosphere at the iconic venue.
Speaking during the crusade, Mrs. Oyindamola Ogunsanwo, who stood in for the wife of the Lagos State governor, Ambode, delivered her goodwill message.
This was followed by that of Agbaje who told the audience how happy he was to be at the World Anointing night. The Pharmacist cum politician gave a short exhortation based on the Book of Hosea Chapter 4 Vs 6 to drive home the need for Nigerians to be much more vocal on political issues affecting them and also to fully exercise their civic rights by voting for the candidate of their choice during elections.
On his part, Mr. Sanwo-Olu, through his representative gave a short exhortation based on the Book of John Chapter 10 Vs 10 in which he stressed that the riches of the earth belonged to God’s people.
There were also representatives of the Enugu State governor, Mr. Ifeanyi Ugwuanyi and that of the Adamawa State Gubernatorial candidate of the Social Democratic Party, SDP, Mr. Emmanuel Bello. They were all unanimously called for prayers against insurgency, poverty, hardship and the successes of the incoming general elections in the country.
Also at the crusade were other eminent personalities and ministers of the Gospel from USA, UK, Ghana, Zambia, Cameroun and others.
The Bishop, who is the publisher of the popular daily devotional, Our Daily Manna, concluded the programme with a series of prophetic prayers intended to change lives for the better.
The special Anointing Night held on Friday January 25 was the grand finale of the 21-day fasting and prayer programme that preceded it.
