Fuji Lord K1 Storms Oyo, As Preparations For His Conferment As First Maiyegun Hots Up

In a very conscious build-up, preparations are already at feverish points in view of the consummation and glorious conferment of the prestigious chieftaincy title of Maiyegun of Yorubaland on Fuji Czar, King Wasiu Ayinde Marshal by the Alaafin of Oyo, HRM Oba Lamidi Adeyemi in a few days to come.

The organizing committee of the event, led by K-1 himself, in collaboration with selected Alaafin’s top palace chiefs are right now in the ancient town of Oyo to put finishing touches and final preparatory stages to the milestone.

The landmark event will further signpost and announce the Fuji Czar as the first ever Maiyegun of Yorubaland, courtesy of the Iku Baba Yeye, the Alaafin of Oyo.

Sources said given K-1’s antecedents, events like this, in his honour, will not be allowed to go without an elaborate ceremony.

The Fuji Lord is said not to do his things in half measures.

Little wonder, he and his team are earnestly in Oyo to tighten loose ends and put in place all necessary logistics for the much-anticipated defining moment for the Olu Aye of Fuji.
