Double J Super Cup: Agbalatura Peace FC Ready To Shock Sardona In Friday’s Tie

Agbalatura Peace Football Club are ready to get their three points when they confront Sardona Football Club on Friday in the ongoing Double J Football Competition tagged ‘Double J Super Cup’ which kicked off last Saturday at the Ladoje Primary School, Oko- Oba Agege, Lagos.
Agbalatura Peace FC handler, Kehinde Oshola told journalists in Lagos that his team are ready to win their first match against Sardona FC, boasting that a draw or lose to their opponents will be a huge disappointment.
“We will approach our match against Sardona FC like a Cup final. I respect Sardona coach and his team but I don’t fear them. Although nobody gave us any chance but we will shock Sardona FC and prove our critics wrong come Friday,” he said.
Sardona Coach, Chukwuka Donatus expressed confidence that his team will come out victorious. He said the match will be tough but his experience over the years in grassroots football would help him to beat stubborn Agbalatura Peace FC.
“It is a match fans want to watch because the coach of Agbalatura Peace FC is a junior to me but he has a team that are good. It is going to be a tough match but I cannot afford to lose my first game,” he said.
Commenting on the tourney, sponsor who doubles as Managing Director of Double J Limited, Raymond Chinedu Nwachukwu whose company is into Recording and Artists Management and Travels and Logistics expressed happiness that the competition got attraction of football followers in Agege and its environs and urged the organizers to keep the flag flying.
In the matches played so far, Double J played 1-1 with God’s Power FC, Toma walloped K. Taiwo 5-0, Y.G Boys played 2-2 with Diamond FC while, Kasamdupe FC thrashed Abule- Egba FC 5-2.
On Wednesday, Global FC battle PCFA, Jesus Answer Me face Kentade FC on Thursday while Sherif FC tackle Orient FC on Saturday
