Organisers of the ongoing Dominion football competition have expressed shocked over the large turnout of the spectators since the competition started a week ago.

The tournament is sponsored by the General Overseer of Mountain of Fire and Miracles Ministries, MFM, Dr D.K Olukoya whose church at Ebute- Metta donated the sum of N3.7 million for the winners of the ongoing free age and U-15 football competition taking place at the Evans Square playground, Ebute- Metta, Lagos.

Chairman Organising Committee, Kazeem Abolaji said the turnout is massive in every match, saying that the tourney has lived up to expectations in terms of standard of play by the participating teams and officiating.

“The competition is the talk of the town in Ebute- Metta and its environs and hundreds of spectators come to match venue every day.The venue is always filled to capacity anytime we have matches. It shows that the competition is well publicized and accepted by the youths in the community,” he said.

Match coordinator, Tytler Mobolaji urged fans to continue to shun vices that can bring the tournament into disrepute saying that any player forment trouble during the match would be sanctioned accordingly.
