How Woman Dumped New Baby Boy Inside Septic Tank

Facts have emerged on how an unidentified woman was delivered of a baby boy and she threw him inside public septic tank in Ogun State.

P.M.EXPRESS reports that the day old baby boy was rescued from a septic tank in Olomore area of Abeokuta North Local Government, Ogun State, on Saturday after crying helplessly for nearly 24 hours.

According to some members of the Cherubim and Seraphim Church (CSC), who had a vigil on Friday close to the septic tank, they confirmed hearing a baby crying in the early hours of Saturday but could not really place the particular direction it was coming from.
However, the baby’s crying became loud and persistent during the day and residents where able to trace the voice to a septic tank beside the Church. 

Efforts were made by those present at the scene and the baby was carefully recovered alive without any harm and also with his placenta uncut given conclusion that the mother deliberately dumped the baby there for undisclosed reasons.

It was gathered that the  Councillor representing the area, Ayoola Kabir, was contacted and proper arrangement was made to take the baby to the hospital for medical checkup and he was fully revived.

Our source disclosed that the idea of contacting the Police came, but they considered saving the life of the innocent baby first before the matter would be reported to the Police for further investigation as to who might have committed such inhuman treatment.
P.M.EXPRESS gathered that the baby was in stable condition and will be taken to the Government Home centre for care and protection while efforts will be made to apprehend the woman behind the dastardly act.
