An Ibadan based business man, Emmanuel Egbu, who was caught eating faeces and bread together has reportedly opened up to the Police on why he chose to do so, Police sources confirmed.

P.M.EXPRESS reports that the Oyo State Police Command had arrested Egbu after he was caught for allegedly eating human excreta with bread, which caused a stir in the area before he was handed over to the Police.

Police sources said Egbu, who has a shop at the Sango area of Ibadan, Oyo State capital, was caught by some persons around 12 noon on Saturday eating the faeces and bread. When asked his reason, he said he chose to do so but the Police were not satisfied with his response and were said to have gone deeper in the investigation to find out why Egbu would do such absurd thing.

The Police were said to be working on the premise that eating human excreta is the hallmark of internet fraudsters and money rituals with cyber fraud.

Egbu has a thriving cosmetics shop where he sells Brazilian hair and other things at the market. Those who caught him with the weird food combination were said to have raised the alarm, which attracted a huge crowd. The trader, who is said to have bought a house and rebuilt it around the same area, was however, rescued before he could be lynched. He was taken to the Sango Police Station.

The Police Public Relations Officer in Oyo State, Mr. Olugbenga Fadeyi, when contacted said that Egbu was in Police custody.
He said the Divisional Police Officer in charge of Sango Police Station had begun investigation into the incident.

The PPRO said, “The DPO told me that some people rescued the man from those who accused him of eating excreta and bread. They said they found some excreta which he packed inside a nylon bag. He was caught and taken to the Police station”.
“The DPO has taken over the case and the man is already in custody. He has begun investigation into the case and samples of what was found on him would be sent for laboratory analysis.”
“He has taken the man’s statement also, and after the investigation at that level, the case will be sent to the State Criminal investigation Department at Iyaganku for further investigation. Investigation will reveal if he is involved in money ritual or not.”

This is a very very bad and diabolic practice carried out by evil doers only in the ancient times, mainly before the arrival of Religious bodies . In the eastern part of Nigeria, the premitive man, who committed an abomination /forbidden acts that attracts a very stiff penalties preferred to take the option of taking an “oaths” and consumes excreta to void the after effects of the oath, which usually reats back at an a year intervals. Then in the eyes of the people, he’s declared innocent, at the expiration of a one whole year. Therefore, Mr. Egbu might have been a victim of diabolical, ritual practices, cultism, circumstances otherwise, there’s no other reasonable case that can mandates him to consume bread and excreta. Finally excreta consumers are those idiolatory, ritualist, questionable characters, thieves, as well as those that belongs to high places wickedness, hence the effects of consuming excreta is to blind folds the reality of uprightness at the detriment of truth and Integrity but at their own selfish reasons.
