Pastor Arrested Over S*x With Girl, 15

A cleric, Pastor Chukwudi Chukwumezie, of the Mountain Zion Deliverance Ministry, Ugamuma Village, Obosi, Anambra State, has been arrested for allegedly engaging a 15-year old girl in sex during deliverance prayer.

P.M.EXPRESS reports that the 34-year old Pastor Chukwumezie allegedly had carnal knowledge of the girl during a deliverance session in the Church and was caught in the process.

He was said to have lured the victim to his Church in order to deliver her from evil spirit when he lost control and engaged her in sex romp.
This was confirmed by the Public Relations Officer of the State Police Command, SP Haruna Muhammed, who said that the suspect was in Police custody undergoing interrogation over the act.

He said, “The man was arrested by Police operatives attached to Ozubulu Division following a tip-off by some people living close to the Church while the case has been transferred to the State Criminal Investigation Department for investigation.”

SP Mohammed revealed that the Pastor had in 2019 jumped bail for an earlier case where he was accused of having carnal knowledge of another 15-year-old girl at a hotel along Eze Iweka Road, Obosi, under the pretence of conducting deliverance prayers for her.
He added that the girl had been taken to the hospital for medical examination, where penetration was confirmed while the Pastor is currently in detention.

According to the statement: “It would be recalled that Police operatives attached to Obosi Division last year arrested one Pastor Chukwudi Chukwumezie, aged 34 years in charge of Mountain Zion Deliverance Ministry, Ugamuma Village, Obosi, Anambra State, who allegedly lured and had unlawful carnal knowledge of a 15-year-old girl at a hotel along Eze Iweka Road, Obosi under pretence of conducting deliverance prayers for her”. 
“However, same suspect, who jumped bail over the matter, again defiled another 15-year-old girl from Iyaba Egbema in Ozubulu, two times using same deliverance method. The victim was equally taken to the hospital for medical examination where penetration was confirmed.”
“Suspect was arrested by Police operatives attached to Ozubulu Division following a tip-off and case transferred to the State Criminal Investigation Department for discreet investigation as directed by the Commissioner of Police, John Abang.”

SP Mohammed said that the suspect will be charged to Court for prosecution as soon as investigation is concluded.

Pastor Chukwumezie risks life imprisonment if found culpable by the Police, charged and found guilty before the Court over the alleged offence.
