Rev. Mother Esther Ajayi Donates Bus To FC Robo

As part of her act of philanthropic gesture to the society, Rev Mother Esther Ajayi , General Overseer of Love of Christ Generation Church has donated a bus to a Nigerian premier league football club , FC Robo ahead of the new season.


Sports is back in Nigeria after the months long lockdown due to the effort of the government to curtail the spread of COVID-19 pandemic. The  attention now drawn to women’s football following the kick off of preparation for the CAF Women’s Champions League in 2021 for Nigerian teams.


Asisat Oshoala , the reigning women’s CAF African footballer of the year award winner through the Esther Ajayi Foundation and her own Asisat Oshoala Foundation is making everything smooth for FC Robo of Lagos to be part of the continental showpiece by providing everything possible for the Lagos island ladies.


In other to cushion the effect of high costs of transportation of the team, Rev Mother Esther Ajayi through the asisat Oshoala Foundation decided to once again put smiles on the faces of the girls who represent Lagos state in the Nigeria women’s league.


FC Robo are one of the best teams in Nigeria today.  They are the only women’s premier league side who have produced the biggest football star in Africa, Asisat Oshoala, fourth time  winner of Africa women footballer of year award, who is currently plying her trade at FC Barcelona. 


FC Robo Queens are a women’s association football club based in Mushin, Lagos State, and a member of the Nigerian Women Football League (NWFL). They have competed in the Nigeria Women Premier League, the highest division for women association football in the country.


Rev. Mother Esther Ajayi has been the face of grassroot sports development in Nigeria sponsoring the Asisat Oshoala Foundation projects since inception, and the Prophetess of God has not given up helping humanity.


From food project, football for girls, football for hope, Asisat Oshoala back to school project, Rev. Mother Esther Ajayi has decided to give hope to the women’s football in Nigeria once again . 


P.M. EXPRESS understands that the presentation of the bus will be done very  soon by Rev. Mother Esther Ajayi, who is the Grand Patron of Asisat Oshoala Foundation.


“I am super excited for my Rev. Mother providing transportation for my former team FC Robo of Lagos. Transportation is another key factor for a team that play in Nigeria with over 36 states. This will help the mobility of the players because they are women and ease their burdens.

“This is my former team. As a Lagosian, I want to see my former team prosper and now that the Confederation of African Football has also announced the creation of Women’s CAF Champions League, I must support the team to succeed in their outings.


“We all need to put our hands together to grow women’s football. Women is the hope of Africa, we need to grow and market women’s football across the continent. We need to give hope to the Nigerian girl-child,” Asisat Oshoala said .


In December, Asisat Oshoala will kick off a food project for the vulnerable children where free food will be distributed to the kids in the neighborhood.


Her plan is to end hunger and malnutrition in Nigeria, Africa’s wealthiest and most populous nation and one of the fastest growing economy. Despite this,  more than half of the country lives below the poverty line.
