I lack adequate words to express how deeply I feel that a man of honour with an impeccable record of public service life has joined the league of the Octogenarians today!

You are a mentor; father figure, unassuming ambassador of peace, leader and respected elder statesman, as you were rated as one of the best 100 Senior Advocates of Nigeria (SANs) alongside Prof. Yemi Osinbajo, Nigeria’s Vice President.

As you celebrate this day, may the Almighty God continue to renew your age like an eagle. Amen!

While this brief birthday message is coming rather too late due to busy schedules, my conscience wouldn’t have allowed me have a good sleep if I had not celebrated your special day on this space.
