An Igbo cleric, Pastor Christian Chris, Founder and Senior Pastor of the Locust Army International Church has advised those Igbo advocating for the state of Biafra to forget it because it will never happen in Nigeria.
Chris disclosed this in an interview with New Telegraph at his church headquarters in Surulere, Lagos State.
He said the agitation was not from God, adding that it came from a selfish platform and was bound to fail.
52-year old Chris disclosed that there is no real Igbo man in his real senses that want the country to divide because there is no need for that.
He noted that the problems the agitators are citing are the problems the Igbo created among themselves.
“I look at it from the spiritual side and God does not want Nigeria to divide,” he declared.
Chris said that part of the problem confronting the Igbo is that they don’t believe in leadership, stressing that it is painful and difficult to lead someone who is not ready to follow.
He said to gather Igbo is very difficult, even as a shepherd of God, he finds it difficult to do so because they do not behave like sheep.

The clergy added that that would not stop him from doing the work God sent him to do.
“An Igbo is already what he is, he has his nature which causes me pain because they make things that are supposed to be easy difficult,” Chris declared.
On the allegation that Igbo people are sidelined in the scheme of things in Nigeria, the pastor said Igbo people should look inward to ascertain where the problem really lies.
He said they should tell themselves the truth and admit that the foundation they stand is problematic by not having or accepting a leader which he said is a sin before God.
On why he remain single at his age, Pastor Chris said it was a covenant he entered with God that he will not marry.
He explained it was an oath of celibacy which he took from childhood to serve God without any distraction to fulfill His mission on earth which He sent him.
He said he has written many books and was able to achieve that with much concentration which he said was part of the mission he was called as a shepherd.
