Why I’ve Been Sleeping With My Daughter – 41-Year Old Man Opens Up

A 41-year old man, Ethel Uzoma, has told the Police why he slept with his 13-year old step daughter saying that she lived with him while growing up, became attractive and he was tempted to penetrate her.

P.M.EXPRESS reports that the suspect, Uzoma, who defiled the daughter at Bale Street, Ojodu area of Lagos, has been arrested over the dastardly act.

According to Police sources, Uzoma landed in trouble after he lured the daughter and engaged her in sex which later got exposed; the victim opened up on what she was going through.

The matter was reported to the Police at Isokoko Division, he was arrested and detained at the station for interrogation where he reportedly confessed.

He was subsequently charged before the Ogba Magistrates Court and his plea was not taken after the Prosecutor, Supol Bisi Ogunleye, asked the Court to refer the matter to the DPP for advice.

Thus, the Presiding Magistrate, Mrs. E. Kubeinje, ordered his remand in Correctional Centre and directed the prosecutor to duplicate the file and send to the DPP for advice.

The defendant was remanded in custody pending the outcome of the DPP’s report and may be transferred to the High Court for prosecution if the DPP’s report finds him culpable and recommends his trial for the alleged offence, which attracts life imprisonment if he is tried and found guilty.
