Okoli Foundation, Emzor Splash Millions On Scholarship For Asisat Oshoala Foundation Project

Dr. Stella Okoli (OON), the Founder and Chief Executive Officer of Emzor Pharmaceutical Industries Limited, has shown to be a strong pillar to Asisat Oshoala Foundation since inception and this support has gone a long way to give life to girl child in Nigeria through the pet project of the captain of Nigeria’s Super Falcons.

Dr. Okoli just announced that for this year’s Asisat Oshoala 8-aside Football Championship, which holds in December, she will be given out educational scholarships, jerseys and medicals worth millions of naira.

P.M. EXPRESS reports that the Asisat Oshoala Foundation is a project of Nigerian female footballer, a forward with Barcelona Femini with the objective of giving hope to a girl child through education and sports.

The kind gesture of Dr. Okoli does not come as a surprise to many who know her philanthropic heart,  as she is also the founder of Chike Okoli Foundation.  Dr. Okoli shares the vision of Asisat Oshoala Foundation. She believes in entrepreneurship for young people and this is one of the reasons she partnered with Oshoala and her foundation to help young girls achieve their dreams.

The 2020 edition of the Asisat Oshoala 8-aside football tourney will however get underway in December, and Emzor Pharmaceutical Industries Limited is one of the dependable partners which is putting their weights to ensure the success of the year’s event

According to the organisers, a seminar to herald this year’s event will be held on 28 November at the Agege Stadium, Agege, while the tournament proper will hold between 1 and 2 December at the same stadium with the grand finale scheduled for 23 December.
