Posted on January 6, 2021

The ongoing Alimosho Football League would return next week after two weeks break to enable the participating teams to observe Christmas and Happy New Year celebration.

The competition which was put together by Alimosho Football Coaches Council had lived up to expectations during the first stanza.

More goals were scored, teams displayed spirit of sportsmanship, while new players were discovered by the organizers

Chairman Organising Committee, Samuel Eke said the league is on break now to give room for the participating teams to celebrate Christmas and New Year with their beloved ones.

“Presently the league is on break but this is the time where teams have the right to register new players for the league and also give room for the organizers to clear teams that are yet to pay their outstanding dues,” he said.

According to fixtures made available to P.M. EXPRESS, action resumes on 12 January when IGU would be at home against IBMA at Igando palace playground, Tailgate FC would welcome Samjason FC at Ejigbo sports centre on 13 January, while NISSI confront Salamson FC at Ikotun Technical College on 15 January.
