How Dreaded Cultist Was Shot After Charms Failed Him During Operation

Facts have emerged on how a wanted dreaded cultist, Owolabi Oludipe, popularly known as “Somori” was killed by men of the Ogun State Police Command, after he alongside his other gang members engaged Police operatives in a gun battle and his charms failed him.
P.M.EXPRESS reports that Owolabi Oludipe was shot dead on Sunday around Ita-Ado area of Odogbolu, in Ogun State, where himself and his gang members wanted to attack some targeted persons, but the Police repelled the attack.
During the gun battle between his gang and the Police, a bullet penetrated his stomach, despite the fact that he had charms on his body.
This was disclosed by the Ogun State Police Public Relations Officer, DSP Abimbola Oyeyemi, who said some of his gang members fled into the bush with various injuries they sustained from the gun battle.
He said that Somori, who did not die immediately, was taken to a hospital, and while he was on the hospital bed, he confessed that he was the one who killed Late Mr. Segun Runsewe, who was a Civil Defence officer, in cold blood murder on the 4th November, 2020. He also confessed to have killed Late Mr. Sunday Kayode Adegbuyi on the 16th January, 2021.
It was also made known that he confessed to have killed one Shoyombo Sanyaolu Fakoya (a member of Eiye Confraternity) on the 11th November, 2020, in a supremacy battle between Eiye and Aye Confraternities.
Oyeyemi said that the cultist died on the hospital bed after he finished his confessions to the Police.
Meanwhile, the Police have intensified efforts to arrest other members of gang who ran into bush while the corpse of the deceased was deposited at the mortuary for autopsy report before he will be finally buried.
