U-13 JOF Kids Cup: First Set Of Quarter Final Teams Emerged

The road to the final of the U-13 JOF Football Championship 2021 is becoming clearer with the emergence of first set of quarter finalists during the Round of 16 matches played at two centres on Thursday.

P.M. EXPRESS reports that matches were played at St Mary International School, Coker and White Sand playground in Lekki, Lagos with four teams made it through to the Round of 8 in keenly contested duels.

At St. Mary School, AZ Zola Babes of Ibeju Lekki showed their supremacy over Okon Babes of Bariga in a game that ended 2-0, while Abu Babes of Ibeju Lekki pipped Yinka Babes of Badagry 3-2.

At White Sand , Rock Star Ojodu laboured for the 1-0 victory over Royal Babes of Iwaya, Orelope Boys of Ajah lost to Jnr. Arsenal of Alimosho  1-2.

According to the fixtures made available to P.M. EXPRESS by the organisers, the second set of Round of 16 matches will be played today.

Ayo Babes of Ajeromi will face Alausa Bombers of Ikeja. Young Stars of Lagos Island will play against Warriors Boys of Agege, while Bonje Babes of Ojodu square up against Edebo United of Obanikoro in another match. Prince Boys, Lekki and Emeka United of Amuwo Odofin will settle scores in the last match.
