When the Nigeria’s Super Eagles staged a return to the city of Lagos in a competitive match after a long period of 20 years on Tuesday, 30 March, 2021, it was not just the action on the field at the Teslim Balogun Stadium in Surulere, but the fanfare and the hospitality that Lagos is known of that came to play before, during and after the Africa Cup of Nations qualifying match against Lesotho were so significant.

It was indeed a victorious comeback with a resounding 3-0 win over the visiting Crocodiles. Though the match was watched by few fans due to the directive from CAF because of preventive measures against COVID-19, Eko for Show was at play at the Teslim Stadium on Tuesday. Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu was on ground to lead the support for the Eagles, so were other top officials of the state government and that of Nigeria Football Federation.

P.M. EXPRESS as usual caught the frenzy in this photo news with photo credit to the Public Affairs Unit of Lagos State Sports Commission.
