Panic Over Arrest Of Drug Baron With N8 Billion Cocaine After NDLEA Rejected €24, 000 Bribe Offer

There is serious panic among drugs cartels in Nigeria after the NDLEA intercepted drugs worth over N8b and arrested the leader of the syndicate after rejecting £24,000 bribe offer to compromise operatives at the Lagos Airport.
P.M.EXPRESS investigation revealed that the intercepted drug was the highest chunk of drugs worth the amount intercepted by NDLEA since the new leadership took over and that is causing serious panic among the cartels.
The Brazil based drug kingpin was arrested by operatives of the NDLEA and intercepted 36 blocks of cocaine, weighing 27.95 kilogrammes with a street value of over N8billion at the Murtala Muhammed International Airport, MMIA, Ikeja, Lagos.
The drug lord, Ejiofor Felix Enwereaku, who leads a syndicate was arrested at the airport on Friday 14th May, 2021 for importing27.95kg of cocaine using their organised criminal gang. which specialises in tagging/planting drugs in innocent travellers’ luggage.
This was disclosed by the Director of Media and Advocacy, NDLEA, Mr Femi Babafemi, who confirmed the arrest and interception of the drugs as exhibits.
