Stampede As Synagogue Members Rush For T.B Joshua’s Healing Water

Despite the recent challenge of building collapse at the Prophet T.B Joshua’s Synagogue Church in Lagos, a disaster which left over 100 members dead, the incident has not waned members’ faith in spiritual power of their senior pastor as they all rushed to pick the church’s signature healing water.
Our correspondent who visited the Ikotun, Lagos headquarters of the church this weekend witnessed members of the church scrambling to pick limited bottles of the healing water.
P.M.EXPRESS gathered that apart from the increasing number of members both Nigerians and foreigners who throng the church headquarters for prayer and other healing services on a daily basis, the Prophet’s adherents scramble to get the healing water, which they pay token amount for, because of their beliefs in its healing efficacy.
It was gathered that foreigners and Nigerians, who live abroad, and who could not come to the church for blessing, send their relatives or friends to buy the water and other healing materials and send to them.
Some of the members and non-members who spoke to our correspondent expressed their faith on the efficacy of those healing materials from their prophet thus their going extra length to have them.
One of the patrons told P.M.EXPRESS that his brother living abroad always remitted money to him to go to the church and buy some bottles of the water and send to him abroad regularly.
He said he has been going to the church to buy the water most of the time because his brother gave testimonies of how since he has been praying with the water, and his business has been moving on well.
Another member said the water comes from days of fasting and prayer by Prophet Joshua while God answers members’ prayer who used the water.
Another member, a Nigerian, who resides in South Africa and usually travelled down twice a year to attend services at the church, said on those periods, he ensures he buys the water and other anointed materials which will last him till his next visit.
According to him, those spiritual materials are used as a point of contact with Prophet Joshua and whenever he was going out for business, he would pray and use those materials which he said were working perfectly for him.
P.M.EXPRESS checks revealed that Joshua’s Synagogue is not the only church that uses holy water and anointing oil and other spiritual materials, but what differentiate his church’s to that of other churches like the Catholic Church, Celestial Church of Christ, Cherubim & Seraphim is that members pay to have the special materials while others have it for free.

All those who believe in the healing powers from anointing oil, holy water and other such materials rather than in the healing powers of the name of JESUS CHRIST are all involved in sins, antithetical to biblical doctrines. The book of Acts 4 : 12 says: “Nor is there salvation in any other, for there is no other name under heaven given among men by which we must be saved”. If one is a true believer of JESUS CHRIST and the undying words of God which God himself honours than his name, he will certainly not remain or be tied to the powerless apron strings of those materials. We learnt in the Bible that Jabez prayed to God that he should be blessed; that his territory be enlarged, and that he would not cause pain. He did so in the name of Jesus and God answered him (see 1 chr 4: 10 ). Let it not be heard again in Christendom, that the children of God have been won by the game and unbiblical miracles from the machinations of the devil and his errand fellows. Even Paul’s healing from his aprons and handkerchiefs as well as the healing received by the woman with the issue of blood when she touched Jesus’s garment, all resulted from the powers of Jesus Christ in them, being the unusual miracles that never happened afterwards, lest the children of perdition substitute them for the power in the blood of Jesus. (See Acts 19: 11 down; ). Also, in Luke 17: 1, the seventy returned with joy, saying, Lord, even the demons are subject to us in your name. There are uncountable accounts in the Bible, the only living book, showing that there is no power (whether for healing or for receiving blessing or that can set one free from sins, demons, sorrow and all the vicissitudes of man or life) other than the blood of Jesus which He “lavished” for our sake on the cross. See Eph. 1 : 7 (In Him we have redemption through His blood…) All the people who travel from South Africa and other parts of the world to Nigeria in search of holy water, anointing oil, handkerchiefs, aprons and other materials for their healing and blessing are blindfolded by the devil so that they will not be able to see the truth. Is the power of Jesus Christ which is omnipresent not present in those countries? Let them know that even in us, Christ lives, unless we are not clean, then He will leave us for He cannot dwell inside filthiness. In the name of Jesus, every knee must bow, businesses will thrive etc. , and all tongues must confess that He is Lord. It is not the anointing oil that makes their businesses grow as they believe. In the ministry of Jesus, He did not use any of these materials for miracles or healings. Children of God, be ware of false doctrines. They will lead you to hell fire. Jesus is the only way, the truth, the light and the life!
