Two Tigers

Musical group, Two Tigers, has disclosed that at the beginning of their career, their foreign audience was somewhat lukewarm to them as they did not know what to expect.

All that is now history as Zilly Tiger and Zeel Tiger have delivered great hits to swell up their fan base both at home and in the Diaspora.

Speaking recently with journalists, Zilly, the second half of Two Tigers had this to say. “At first, the foreigners thought it would be hard to understand our song but once it goes on air, they are all on their feet, vibing and dancing all the way.”

Their singles “Conquer” became an anthem on the lips of fans across the world and with the success recorded so far, the Ambrose Alli University, Ekpoma, graduates are presently putting finishing touches to their planned tour of five European cities, tagged, Suwe Night.

In November 2020, Two Tigers protested in Rome against police brutality back home in Nigeria. It was at the height of the #EndSARS protests in Africa’s largest nation but even they live far away from the shores of their country, they made their presence felt.

Chosing Rome, a city populated by over a thousand Nigerians was strategic as scores of them hit the streets to cheer on the musical stars. They were provided protection by the Italian Police throughout the duration of the peaceful protest.

In doing so,Two Tigers succeeded in engraving their names in the hearts of Nigerians who continue to look up to courageous leaders that can speak for them. While the likes of Falz, Mr. P, Tuface and scores of others kept the fire burning back home, Two Tigers held the Diasporan mandate, ensuring that problems back home was brought to the attention of the world at large.
