Facts have emerged how twin Pastors, Taye and Kehinde Sonaike, of the Open Heaven Church in Lagos, allegedly gang-raped and impregnated a 12-year old girl then attempted to induce abortion on her and it leaked.

P.M.EXPRESS reports that the incident happened at Ori Ire Street, Oworoshoki area of Lagos State, where the church is located.

The Police at Oworoshoki Division have started manhunt for Taye and Kehinde, who are now on the run after they reportedly paid N11, 000 to a nurse, who was to induce the abortion on the girl.

However, the girl opened up to her parents at night as the abortion would take place the following day.
Shocked by news, the girl’s mother was said to have poisoned herself and was rushed to an undisclosed hospital, where she was revived and is said to be getting better.

The case was said to have been referred to a human rights activist and social worker, Toyin Adeboye, who in turn referred both the girl and the mother to Mirabel Sexual Assault referral centre, Ikeja, Lagos. It was gathered that medical examination was carried out on the girl and the doctors report confirmed she had been molested severally.

The matter was reported to the Police in the area and the nurse, who attempted to induce abortion on the girl was arrested but was granted an administrative bail while the Pastors, who committed the dastardly act, ran away from the area with their family.

P.M.EXPRESS scooped that the girl’s family seemed to be in dilemma on what to do with the pregnancy because the girl cannot clearly state, who among the Pastors really impregnated her because both had sex with her.

According to Police sources, it is only DNA test that will determine who actually impregnated her but the two suspects will be charged before the Court for defilement whenever they are caught and it attracts several years of imprisonment if they are tried and found guilty before the Court for the alleged offence.
