AFCON: Energy Magnate, Wale Tinubu Hails Super Eagles Over Victory Against South Africa

The Group Chief Executive of Oando Group, Mr. Wale Tinubu, has joined millions of Nigerians to congratulate Nigeria’s national team, the Super Eagles, on their victory over South Africa’s team, Bafana Bafana, in the semifinal stage of the ongoing African Cup of Nations, AFCON.

The oil tycoon, who was personally at the Stade de la Paix, Bouaké in Ivory Coast to cheer up the team, posted on his social media handles, how elated he was with the deserved victory of the Nigerian team.

He wrote: “Well done to the Super Eagles. A marvellous win against the talented South African team. With the Nigerian spirit of dedication and grit, there is no challenge that we cannot surmount. With the skill, team work, and resilience the final is assured and greatness is ours. Bring this cup home.”

He charged the team not to relent on their oars and record the ultimate victory on Sunday when they play the final against Ivory Coast.

The Super Eagles whipped Bafana Bafana of South Africa 4:2 on penalties to reach the final.
