Aji Busu’s Empty Promises vs. Soludo’s Tangible Achievements: A Tale of Two Ndi Anambra
MAZI EJIMOFOR OPARA
One Aji Busu was at Ayamelum, Anambra North, in what can be better described as a student union departmental event or even less. When I saw the videos and pictures emanating from the said event, I simply felt a mixture of sadness and pity for the overzealous Aji Busu, who should have really deployed scarce resources to better ends. While he is going about negotiating “cost per stakeholder” and promising his pack of lies, the people of Anambra North are preparing for a feast — a thank-you rally — in appreciation of the Man who has proven to them that there are, indeed, friends who stick closer than brothers.
The people of Anambra North have compiled over sixty (60) verifiable projects by Governor Soludo spread across the seven (7) LGAs of Anambra North. We are talking about Anambra North, where all the five (5) brand-new General Hospitals built in the State so far by the Soludo administration are domiciled.
It is this very same Anambra North where a hitherto urban slum, Okpoko, has been transformed into “New Haven”. The same Anambra North where the people of Anambra West can now drive to their LGA headquarters in Nzam for the first time since the creation of the State. We are still talking about the Anambra North where Onitsha South alone now boasts of over 16 constructed roads and many more rehabilitated.
The truth is, Anambra North is one place APGA and Soludo would not lose a single vote for verifiable reasons. A grateful people are rolling out the drums tomorrow, Saturday, June 21, 2025, for a Leader after their hearts.
