Ali Baba Sets To Enthrall Lagos On New Years Day

As stand-up comedy great, Ali Baba set to host the 2017 edition of his ‘January 1st Concert’, a stellar list of artistes to perform at the New Year’s Day gig has been unveiled.

Scheduled to hold at the Eko Convention Centre of Eko Hotels & Suites on 1 January, 2017, the artistes already confirmed include Mavin Records acts, Reekado Banks and Korede Bello; Afro-pop star Harrysong; Song diva Waje; Simi; while Akpororo and Bovi  will crack ribs with jokes at the event.

The second edition of the annual comedy plus music concert, held on 1 January this year, witnessed some of the most influential personalities, A-list celebrities and moguls across Nigeria in attendance.

The host, Ali Baba has promised that the 2017 edition will be much bigger than this year edition which received favorable comments from attendees and the media.

Produced by Bunmi Davies, also expected to perform at the concert are some of Nigeria’s most celebrated comedians, including Omo Baba, Funny Bone, Okey Bakassi, Still Ringing, Ushbebe, Senator, Acapella, Ajebo among others.
