All Now Set For Ifunanya Age Grade’s Annual Seminar On Easter Monday

All is now set for the 2021 Annual Seminar of Ifunanya Age Grade, Ibughubu Umuchu in Aguata, Local Government Area of Anambra State.
P.M.EXPRESS reports that the seminar is slated to hold on Easter Monday, 5th April, 2021 at the Ibughubu Umuchu Civic Centre, with Chief Anacletus Izuakor (Ebekuo Dike) Chairman, Ibughubu Improvement Union Representative Assembly, IIURA and the traditional head of Ibughubu community, Chief Beneath Ikebu, as Chief Hosts.
The topic of the seminar is: The Importance of Age Grade in a Society With Bible reference, which will be addressed by two eminent speakers, Rev. Father Longinus Egbeonu and HRM, Ozo Ezeani, Eze Martin Emechebe, Ezendigbo in South Africa.
Many dignitaries were invited as guests including, Vice Chairman, Umuchu Improvement Union, UIU, Chief Abuchukwu Elemuo, Hon. Paul Igwilo, Chief Innocent Anununkor, Dr Emmanuel Maduakor, Bar Raph Uzoigwe, Mazi Uchenna Aziekwe, youths, women and others under the sponsorship of Chief Raph Ekekwe, Nwata Kwochaa in Umuchu.
The Coordinator, Ogbuehi Calistus Ebeagwu disclosed that the seminar is being organized to mobilize the various age grades in Ibughubu Umuchu to wake up and embrace age grade for rapid community development.
He noted that age grade has played and is still playing important role in some communities in Igbo land because it has always been a force to bring people together under one umbrella for development through healthy competition among age grades.
He explained that the event is meant to engage the stakeholders in the community including various age grade groups, youths and women and men to know the importance of age grade and how it relates to the work of God for all to embrace it for the good of the community.
Ebeagwu said even the elders of the community were invited and they will be engaged to speak at the event with their wealth of experience as a wake up call to embrace age grade in Ibughubu Umuchu.
Ifunanya Age Grade had their inaugural meeting on 5th January 2021 and since then, it has been moving from strength to strength under the leadership of Ogbuehi Calistus Ebeagwu as Coordinator, Mr. Camelius Anyaneto, Depury Coordinator, Chief Cyriacus Izuekwe as Secretary while Mrs. Clementina Okoli is Women Leader.
