Amirror’s single “Run It”, off her 11-track “REFLXNS” EP featuring Akon, Nektunez, and Spotless, continues to gain traction and receive applause.

With the momentum her music has quickly gained, she is on track for Afrobeats success.

Released on 28 June 2024 through Akon’s Konvict Kulture record label, the “REFLXNS” body of work is described by some music pundits as a unique musical sound reflective of Amirror’s beauty and distinctiveness.

The visual for “Run It” is compelling and makes it clear that Amirror means business.

As a native of West Virginia, Amirror has gone from karaoke sessions, soulful gatherings, talent shows, and festivals to riding the crest of the wave of emerging Afrobeats global stars.

With an experienced and supportive management and PR team behind her, Amirror is taking flights and hitting the road, from America to Africa on her “REFLXNS” media tour.

“I want to take my music to every corner of the world, connect with the locals, and introduce new audiences to my brand and sound”, Amirror expressed when asked about the goals of her upcoming media tour.

Her album is composed of dynamic tracks “Far Away”, “Hypnotized”, “More Than That” with Akon, “Morocco” with Spotless, “Hero”, “Insane” ft. Nektunez, “Boujie”, “Fed Up”, “US”, “Tempt Me”, and the lead single “Run It”. “REFLXNS” is a fusion of R&B, Hip-hop, and Afrobeats.

With her authentic use of African lingo and catchy lyrics that captivate listeners, Amirror exhibits the talents of an artist who isn’t afraid to explore new heights with her sound.

Musical legend Akon has described “REFLXNS” as, “an exciting, vibrant journey through Amirror’s unique musical landscape.”

When asked to share more about “Run It”, Amirror stated, “When creating it, I was motivated by my desire to combine distinctive cultural elements of the diaspora into a catchy and memorable song.

Run It was an opportunity to purposefully fuse the sounds and lingo I studied while in Africa into my music in an organic and fun manner. I made sure it sounded authentic and would connect with audiences. Honestly, I had so much fun recording that single.”

The “Run It” music video displayed Africa’s rich cultural tapestry. Amirror attributes her time living in Senegal as a significant source of inspiration when creating the vision for “Run It”.

“When I was in Dakar, Senegal, I explored the stunning sights of the country. I developed a deep appreciation for its scenic and cultural beauty. We used the “Run It” video as an opportunity to showcase that beauty and my experience while living there.

“I was motivated by my desire for my fanbase outside of Africa to experience the magnificence of Africa and Afrobeats through my music and visuals.”
