Anambra APC And Its Grand Mistake

Posted on September 24, 2025

Only a mad person repeats the same thing over and over again and expects a different result.

Part of the grand mistake of the Anambra APC has always been its inability to accept its fate within the Anambra political space. As a party, it exists here in name only. At best, it is a non-performing department of APGA where “F ranked” politicians are dumped.

What is happening in 2025 is so much reminiscent of 2021. Poor quality candidates, spending of cash to “purchase” validation from House of Assembly members who have become spent-forces and planning to write results as it is manifestly clear to them that the people would not vote for questionable candidates in a nonexistent Party.

This rinse and repeat strategy that has never worked has left the people wondering;

— Are those in Anambra APC really okay upstairs? Or

— Do they take Ndi Anambra for a joke that they come back every time to re-enact scenes from their widely known political playbook?

Well, in 2021 Andy Uba bought about 13 members of the State Assembly for 50million Naira each plus a sitting Deputy Governor. Including those who referred to themselves as the “root of the grass” and yet lost woefully in their various polling units. In 2025 Nicholas Ukachukwu has started another bazaar with his freshly purchased four members of the State Assembly, who will certainly lose to APGA in their various polling units on November 8.

Let me remind them again, in case they may be pretending not to know; ANAMBRA IS APGA LAND!
