Anambra Not A Sanctuary For Criminals: Soludo Adopts Technology In Fighting Crime
IZUCHUKWU ADICHIE
Soludo is committed to doing everything possible to eliminate all forms of criminality in the state. He believes that to create a livable and prosperous homeland, Anambra must be peaceful. Soludo has issued a stern warning to criminals who engage in kidnapping for ransom, burning government properties, and unwanton killings. He cautioned that, in the coming days, these criminals will find themselves in a precarious situation, as he concluded robust plans to flush them out of their hiding places.
Among other initiatives, Soludo is set to introduce a robust and formidable security program named Operation Udo Ga-achi. This operation will work collaboratively with other security agencies. Our fight against crime will be driven by advanced technology, to monitor and enhance security efforts across Anambra. For instance, in the unfortunate event of a kidnapping, authorities will be able to track suspects through their phones or those of the victim. Even if a phone is turned off, strategically placed CCTV cameras will help track movements across the state, ensuring a swift response.
Additionally, Soludo has approved the Anambra State Forest Guard to protect our forests and prevent any unauthorized invasions. Our local vigilantes are currently undergoing re-training to strengthen their capacity, community leaders have been urged to take charge of their communities and 163 operational vehicles are being distributed to various security agencies throughout the state to bolster our collective safety efforts towards achieving a liveable and prosperous homeland.
