As the race for the APGA ticket in the Anambra South Senatorial by-Election intensifies, we must unite behind a leader who not only embodies the values of our great party, but has also proven his commitment to the people time and again. That leader is *Chief Akai Egwuonwu*—a trusted APGA stalwart, a visionary entrepreneur, and a grassroots mobilizer with an unmatched record of service.

Chief Akai’s dedication to APGA’s growth is robust. As the CEO of Anambra Rice, he has not only contributed to the economic empowerment of our people through spearheading the rice revolution, but has also been a pillar of support for the party. During the 2021 governorship election, Chief Akai demonstrated his firm commitment to APGA and Governor Charles Chukwuma Soludo’s vision. He was the *second-highest donor* to the campaign at the time. This fact can be verified through the U-AYA records. But his contributions went beyond financial support.

At a time when insecurity threatened to disrupt the election process, Chief Akai took it upon himself to ensure that the voices of Ndi Anambra South were heard. He mobilized and transported APGA stakeholders from every ward in Nnewi South to Awka, providing *20 buses* to safely convey them. This act of courage and leadership ensured that our people could participate fully in the democratic process. To further support them, Chief Akai gave each attendee *one bag of rice and ₦5,000*. A clear demonstration of loyalty to party and love for the people.

Chief Akai’s commitment to APGA is not a recent development. For the past *10 years*, he has single-handedly maintained and paid the rent for all APGA ward offices in Amichi, Nnewi South. This consistency and dedication earned him the prestigious *LIFE PATRON* award from APGA leadership—a recognition of his selfless service and loyalty to the party.

Unlike some aspirants who only appear during election season, Chief Akai is a constant presence in our communities. He is accessible, grassroots-oriented, and deeply committed to addressing the unique challenges facing Anambra South. His programs and vision are not just promises; they are practical, achievable solutions designed to uplift our people and transform our zone.

Chief Akai Egwuonwu embodies the values of *Prof. Soludo’s disciples*: integrity, selflessness, and a relentless commitment to the well-being of our people. He is not a transient politician seeking personal gain; he is a tested and trusted leader who has consistently stood by APGA and Ndi Anambra South.

Let us reject those who seek to exploit our people for their own selfish interests. Let us choose a leader who has already shown, through his actions, that he is ready to serve and deliver for Anambra South. *Chief Akai Egwuonwu* is that leader.

Together, let’s rally behind Chief Akai Egwuonwu for the APGA ticket. Let’s give him our mandate and work together to build a brighter, more prosperous future for Anambra South.
