APC Onigbongbo Delegates Reaffirm Support For Moyosore Adebanjo

Few days after Saturday’s primaries of the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) Lagos State, the party delegates of Onigbongbo Local Council Development Area, have reaffirmed their support for the Chairmanship bid of Hon. Moyosore Adebanjo.

The executives of the party, at a press briefing, Tuesday, in Onigbongbo, stated that their position has not changed on their preferred choice of Hon. Adebanjo as the right man for the Council Chairmanship of Onigbongbo LCDA.

Mrs Oluwajana Kemi, the LCDA Woman Leader, who spoke on behalf of the delegates, said members of the executives were not swayed by media propaganda and deliberate misrepresentation of events to swing stories of purported interest in the candidate of the incumbent chairperson over Hon. Moyosore Adebanjo.

Oluwajana said: “Today, we make bold to say that the charade of protests against the APC primaries that led to the emergence of Hon. Moyosore Adebanjo is laughable and only exists in the imagination of those who seek to achieve a sinister motive and further plunge our party LCDA into chaos. Our leader, President Bola Ahmed Tinubu is a democrat and would never be a part of such a cheap charade.

“We believe that all the aspirants contesting for the position of the Chairmanship of our local government are eminently qualified, but the executives of the party have zeroed in on a more preferred, grassrooted and amiable aspirant in person of Hon. Moyosore Adebanjo.

Another Executive Member of the party in the LCDA, Comrade Kenneth Agba, who is the Onigbongbo APC Youth Leader, reiterated that all the executives were in support of Hon. Adebanjo.

He said “Our stands remains the same as a group, we’re happy that he heeded the call to contest and submit his nomination form. Hon. Moyosore is generally loved by the people of Onigbongbo”.
