Arsenal Ace, Reiss Nelson Rejects Contract Extension

Posted on May 21, 2023
Arsenal winger Reiss Nelson, has turned down the Gunners’ latest offer to extend his contract, according to reports in England.
The 23-year old’s current deal expires at the end of June and, as things stand, he will be leaving on a free transfer.
While some fans on Twitter appreciate Nelson’s talent, most believe that it is time to part ways with the Hale End Academy graduate.
Nelson has made some memorable cameos from the bench this season, most notably in the incredible comeback win over Bournemouth.
However, the winger has remained a bit-part player, with manager Mikel Arteta having handed him just five starts, and you do feel that a departure from the Emirates is necessary if he wants regular first-team football.
Aston Villa, Brighton, Fulham and West Ham are all said to be keen on securing Nelson’s services so it looks almost that the former England Under 21 international will be lining up against the Gunners next season.
