Afropop/Dancehall rising sensation Asha Gangali has released a brand new EP, Kalakuta State of Mind.
The new EP, which includes the wave making single Badman, has gotten significant number of downloads within the short period of release.
Asha Gangali said he was inspired to produce the song by Late Fela Anikulapo-Kuti and his Afrobeat king son, Femi Kuti,
“I was inspired by Fela who is the “Original Badman” and also Femi Kuti, whose Dem Bobo baseline inspired the Afrobeat elements on this record. This is my new sound which is a blend of Afrobeat and Dancehall, said Asha Gangali.
According to the energetic and multi talented act, the song Badman is currently on the MTN Top 10 Countdown.
While the full Kalakuta State of Mind EP is available on iTunes, amazon, MTN Plus, Techno Boombox and all other online stores.
