Badagry United Get Two Acres Of Land To Build Stadium
In order to meet the expectations of their fans and be among the clubs in Lagos that would have their own stadium, Badagry United Football Club have received two acres of land to build their football stadium.
This was disclosed by Sporting Director of Badagry United, Danladi Musa in a chat with our correspondent on early Tuesday morning. Musa revealed that the club president, Prince Seyon Adeyemi Akran had donated two acres of land to the team to enable them construct the mini stadium in Badagry, Lagos.
Musa said the donation came at the time when Badagry United are looking for a place to get their permanent site and thanked Prince Akran for deem it fit to give the team two acres of land to build their stadium.
“Let me use this medium to thank our president and prince Akran for donating two acres of land to the team. This is uncommon gift the club has received recently. Prince has done well and I pray that God should give him sound health to see the completion of the stadium,” he said.
Musa also thanked Customs Seme Border Area Command Comptroller CAC Bello Jibo for his support for the club since inception saying that Badagry United is one of the formidable teams in the Badagry community
Meanwhile Badagry United would face GGSI FC on Wednesday in the ongoing Badagry league week four. Other matches play tomorrow are Super Heroes face 36 Lion FA, Rivas tackle New Era, Paslaw clash with Kweme as Mopson go to war with Sky Rovers.
