Bariga FC, Ighalo FC Battle For Ultimate Prize, As 1XBET Cup Final Holds Today

The stage is set for the grand final of the 1XBET Community Football Championship, as Bariga FC and Odion Ighalo FC battle for the giant trophy and the ultmate prize of N1million naira, at the final game slated to hold Thursday, at the Mobolaji Johnson Arena stadium, Onikan, Lagos. 

The final match of the championship which began with 40 teams, is sponsored by foremost Nigerian betting company 1XBET and organised by Match International Limited.

According to the organisers, the final match would be preceeded by a novelty 5-aside match between Lagos based retired players and the third place game between Young Strikers and De Elites FC, in what has also been described as a tough game.

Waidi Akanni, CEO of Match International Limited, further disclosed that there would be individual prizes for the highest goal scorer, most valuable player and the fair play awards.

Meanwhile, it was disclosed that top politicians, socialites and ex-footballers including, Senator Musiliu Obanikoro, Hon. Muibi Folawiyo, Chairman of Lagos Island East LG, Senator Wasiu Eshinlokun and Honourable Seun Osiyemi, Lagos State Commissioner Of Transportation.

Others include ex-Nigeria international players, Simeon Bremner Aladah, Michael Dominic, Daniel Amokachi, Austin Eguavoen, Victor Agali, Tajudeen Disu, David Apelete Dosu, Taiwo Oloyede and many others.
