In addition to successfully conducting local council elections, Soludo has made history by ending a two-decade drought in which Anambra State was unable to carry out proper elections. He also took additional measures to ensure a smooth, open, and peaceful electoral process.

The preparations and execution of the election were transparent and public, earning praise from observers and stakeholders for its exceptional transparency, which ensured that the true expression of Ndi Anambra was accurately captured.

The polls offered voters a choice of candidates with nine political parties participating. There were no reports of interference by the government or violent disturbances that could have influenced the election.

The electoral body, civil society groups, and stakeholders played a significant role in engaging the people, providing voter education, and ensuring transparency in the concluded election.
