Boy, 18, Docked For Impregnating Mother’s House Girl

An 18-year old, Damilola Kayode, has landed in trouble in Lagos State for allegedly luring and engaging her mother’s 14-year old house maid in sex and Impregnating her inside the market.

P.M.EXPRESS reports the teenager, Kayode, has been arrested and charged for defilement under the Criminal law of the State.

The incident happened on 18th March, 2025, at Isakaba Small Market, Ikota Ajah, Lagos.

The matter got exposed after the suspect’s mother discovered changes in the victim’s body and a medical test was conducted. The result confirmed that she was pregnant. She was asked to know who was responsible and she mentioned the name of the suspect.

According to the Police,  the victim was living with the suspect’s 52-year old mother,  Mrs. Misi Kayode, as the house maid before he lured her into sex and she became pregnant as a result.

The matter was reported to the Police at Ajah Division. The suspect was arrested and transferred to the Gender Section of the State Command for interrogation over his alleged conduct.

After rounds of interrogation, the Police found him culpable and charged him before the Ogba Magistrate Court for the alleged offence, which attracts several years of imprisonment.

However, the Court did not take his plea following a motion moved by the prosecutor, Inspector Lucky Ihiehie, asking the Court to refer the matter to the DPP for legal advice

The Presiding Magistrate, Mrs. M.O.Tanimola, ordered his remand in custody at the correctional center at Kirikiri town, Lagos, pending the outcome of the DPP’s advice and directed the prosecutor to duplicate the file and send it to the DPP for legal advice.

The matter was adjourned for mention for the report of the DPP’s advice to be available, which will determine if the matter will be transferred to the High Court or not over jurisdiction.
