Buruj FC Youngster, Raheem Salaudeen & 21 Others Get U15 National Team Call-Up

Posted on July 10, 2025

Buruj FC’s prodigious talent, Raheem Moyinoluwa Salaudeen, has been named among 22 players invited to the next phase of camping for Nigeria’s U15 national football team, the Future Eagles.

The camp is scheduled to commence on July 12, 2025, at the Goodluck Jonathan Hostel in Abuja, where the selected players will begin preparations under the watchful eyes of national team handlers.

Salaudeen, a product of the renowned Buruj Sports Academy, first gained national attention in 2023 when he made his debut in the Nationwide League One (NLO) at age 13, coming on as a second-half substitute.

Since then, the midfielder has grown in leaps and bounds, consistently holding his own against senior opponents in Nigeria’s third-tier football league.

In December 2024 , he was part of the Nigerian contingent to Morocco following the second phase of the NFF/FIFA Talent Development Scheme (TDS) program, further underlining his rising profile in youth football.

His latest national team invitation is seen as a reward for his steady progression, strong work ethic, and technical maturity beyond his years.

Those close to his development journey attribute much of his growth to the foundational training and support received at Buruj Sports Academy, where he began honing his football skills as a three-year-old.

This call-up represents another step forward in what promises to be a bright future for the highly rated youngster.
