Business Mogul, Ozo Raphmoore Ekekwe Storms Lagos As Freedom Club Holds Couples Dinner In Grand Style

It was an atmosphere of pomp and pageantry on Sunday 10th September, 2023, as business mogul and National Patron of Freedom Club, Ugomba Umuchu town, Ozo Raphmoor Ekekwe, stormed Lagos for the club’s couples dinner in grand style. 
P.M.EXPRESS reports that the epoch event was held at Santiago Milan Hotel and Suites,  FESTAC Link Road, Amuwo Odofin, Lagos and was attended by prominent Umuchu town sons and daughters including friends from within and outside Lagos State.
Among the dignitaries who attended the event included the Chairman UIU, Lagos branch, Chief Osy Nwankwu, Chris Ezeoguine (Ogene Umuchu), Chief Oliver Anununko, Hon.Uchenna Aziekwe,  President of Umuchu Ambassadors Club, Chief Samuel Okey Egbu, Chukwudi Ifediba (Mayor), Andrew Ekejuba under the leadership of amiable Chairman of Freedom Club Lagos chapter, Nze Austin Ezeoke (Ogazi Umuchu ) and many others.
In his opening remarks, Nze Ezeoke explained that the couples meeting was organized to bring members and their wives together for the wives to know what they were doing, have more interaction and fraternity among the members.
He explained that Freedom Club was initially established in the South East but with the changing business climate and activities, increasing business opportunities in Lagos, some members of Umuchu Freedom club resident in the East migrated to Lagos and with understanding of the leadership then,  the club was established in Lagos State.
He stated that since the club was established 16 years ago in Lagos, they have been waxing stronger and have done so many things in both social and human development by sponsoring education of the less privileged and engaging in development strides in Umuchu, which was the motivation behind the formation of Freedom Club.
He stated that the Couples meeting was conceived many years ago and it has assisted to make the club stronger because it involves their wives and offered opportunities to interact and honour them.
The National Patron of Freedom Club,  Ozo Raphmoore Ekekwe, who flew in from Aba, Abia State, commended the leadership of Freedom Club for organizing the event and promised to always support the club whenever he was contacted and invited for their activities.
Those who were present at the event commended Ozo Raphmoore Ekekwe for his philanthropic gestures and generosity to the people of Umuchu town and for always making himself available once anything concerns Umuchu affairs.
Ozo Ezenwata’s commitment to issues that concern Umuchu was known to the people and that was why the revered Traditional Ruler of Umuchu town, Igwe Godson O. Ezechukwu, gave Ekekwe one of the highest chieftaincy titles as Ugomba 1 of Umuchu, which automatically made him a member of Igwe Umuchu’s cabinet.
Chief Raphmoore Ekekwe is a successful businessman and had ventured into many businesses and companies, one of which is Holy Child Pharmaceuticals Limited, which has its head office in Aba, Abia State.
He is a grassroots man, who is connected and loved by his people because of his milk of human kindness and humility.
Based on his early successes in the business world, he was given the chieftaincy title as Nwatakwochaa, which literally means when a child washes his hands properly, he will eat and dine with the elite.
Chief Ekekwe has touched many lives both within Umuchu and outside including the old men and women, youths, friends and relations, whom he had assisted by providing both their health and materials needs over years.
Ozo Ezenwata Raphmoore Ekekwe will always be remembered by Umuchu people as he continues to give moral and financial support on anything that has to do with the development of Umuchu town in Anambra State.
