Cars45Nigeria’s leading tech-enabled automotive trading platform has been recognized as a 2021 Automobile Leadership Excellence Prize winner for its display of uncommon initiative and impressive developmental efforts in charging Africa’s economic aspirations through innovative and creative solutions.

Cars45 was formally presented the Prize at an awards ceremony which took place at the Sheraton Hotel, Lagos.

The event, which is in its fifth year organized by the African Institute for Leadership Excellence and proudly supported by the African Union and NEPAD, followed a very rigorous selection process using the following criteria which included operational excellence, effective service delivery, growth in the last one year, innovation and market share dominance.

Chief Executive Officer, Cars45, Soumobroto “Sunny” Ganguly said the award marks a significant validation and ringing endorsement of our efforts at solving the challenges across the automotive value chain from new, to used, logistics, aftermarket and repair services and end-of-life vehicles.

“This award which is against the backdrop of our market leadership is dedicated to all my colleagues across our operations, our customers and other stakeholders. We will not waver in our commitment to driving our mission to make auto-trade transparent and convenient for consumers and dealers through digitization,” said Ganguly.

It will be recalled that in December 2019, Cars45 was named ‘Online Auto Marketing Company of the Year’ at the Nigerian Auto Journalists Association (NAJA) Awards which recognizes and honours outstanding auto brands and models that have achieved extraordinary success.

Cars45 is currently present in over twelve cities across Nigeria as well as Accra, Kumasi, and Nairobi with plans to expand into over 40 cities across the continent by 2023.

Its franchise dealer network and autopreneur support system have empowered so many young people financially, and the marketplace has exceeded expectations in facilitating consumer-to-consumer vehicle trades and making the car ownership dreams of lots of people come true.
