Clubs From Slovania, Belgium Chase Nigerian Young Player

Some top clubs in Slovania and Belgium have expressed their intentions to sign Nigerian young player, Maduabuchi Chinaza Joshua who is currently playing for Ante international Football Club of Lagos.

Joshua who is playing from the left wing is seriously wanted by top European clubs following his impressive performance in the last year scouting programme held in Ijebu-Ode, Ogun State.

Disclosing this to our correspondent,licensed player intermidiary with Nigeria Football Federation,NFF Ante Goodluck said Joshua would soon be invited for trials in Belgium or Slovania because of his current form.

Asked which clubs are interested in Joshua, Goodluck said he would not mention the club name until he finalises the deal with the European clubs.

“Joshua is a player being wanted by some clubs in Slovania and Belgium.It was during the last year scouting programme held in Ijebu-Ode the foreign scouts from Slovania and Belgium saw him and since them we have been talking how the player would come to Europe for trials.

“Aside this, i sent some video clips of Joshua to the club representatives and they are more interested in the player but presently we are still in advance stage to finalise how the player would hit the Europe for trials.

 

“I still keep the name of the clubs to my chest because i have not decided which club the player would go but all i can say is that clubs from these two countries are interested in the player,”he said.

Commenting on the player performance, Ante international coach,Augustine Ojezuanbi said he is not surprised with Joshua’s current form saying that the 18 years old player is hot now and it would be a good signing for any club in Europe.

“Joshua went to Bayern Munich youth teams in Abuja when he was 15,years old, he was a delight to watch so i wish him best of luck in his football career,”he said.

Meanwhile Joshua is being managed by Goodluck who is a Nigerian football agent.
